While many midsize crossover SUVs are on the market today, the bold Dodge Durango stands out with its confident design and exciting performance capabilities. This three-row model is almost identical between the 2024 and 2025 versions. However, Dodge has pared down the trim options. The 2025 Durango trims are the GT, R/T, and SRT Hellcat. What can you expect from your new Durango?
The powertrains are unchanged for the Durango's trim levels that carry forward from 2024. The 2025 Dodge Durango GT is outfitted with a 295-horsepower, V6, 3.6-liter engine and an eight-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel drive is standard, and all-wheel drive is offered as an upgrade. The Durango R/T comes with a 5.7-liter V8 engine that delivers 360 horsepower. It carries the same transmission, standard four-wheel drive, sport-tuned suspension, and sport-tuned steering. If you drive the SRT Hellcat, you can enjoy a 710 horsepower, 6.2-liter supercharged V8 system. This trim level also is equipped with upgraded brakes and a sport-tuned adaptive suspension system.
The Dodge Durango's commanding style holds steady going into the 2025 model year. It shows off broad dimensions, chiseled side panels, a strong hood definition, and a rounded nose for a strong yet athletic look. On the nose, the Durango's grille is curved and transitions to the LED headlights on the flanks. Below the grille and headlights, the thick bumper and boomerang-shaped air inlets add an aggressive touch. Some or all trim levels for both model years offer a power liftgate, a trailer hitch, up to 20-inch wheels, and black trim.
The Dodge Durango is well-appointed across all of its trim levels. The entry-level trim for 2025 comes with a blind-spot warning, a forward collision warning, a six-speaker sound system, a heated steering wheel, a 10.1-inch touch display screen, heated front seats, and more. Options available for this trim level include a nine-speaker Alpine sound system, adaptive cruise control, memory settings for the front row, heated rear seats, leather upholstery, and parking sensors. If you choose a higher Durango trim level, your SUV may also have a Harman Kardon sound system, lane keeping, a micro-suede headliner, and a few other features.
