The two-row Jeep Grand Cherokee has long been a preferred SUV that balances solid engineering with advanced features and premium finishes. The Grand Cherokee L offers the same appeal and adds a third row in a slightly larger cabin. You can count on our friendly team at David Stanley Dodge to help you fully compare the models.
The 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee is equipped with a V6, 3.6-liter engine. This 293-horsepower system features an eight-speed auto transmission. Most trims have rear-wheel drive, with available four-wheel drive. Select trims come with standard four-wheel drive, an electronic limited-slip rear differential, adjustable ride height, and an adaptive air suspension system. The Grand Cherokee L is comparably equipped, and some trims also add a rear limited-slip differential.
The Grand Cherokee shows off Jeep’s signature, boxy design elements through its profile, fenders, and wide grille. An LED light ribbon outlines rectangular headlights and connect to the grille. Tow hooks are mounted on the squared-off bumper on select trim levels. The Grand Cherokee L is longer to accommodate the additional row of seating in the cabin. The nose is slightly rounded and tall. The sleek, rectangular grille on the Grand Cherokee L links to horizontal, tapered headlights. Below the grille, the rectangular bumper drops to the lower-body molding. The linear fog lights are embedded in black ports that also drop down to the molding.
Both of these Jeep models are available with front-row memory settings, adaptive cruise control, forward collision mitigation, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a surround-view camera, a McIntosh sound system, premium leather upholstery, wood details, an automated parking system, a three-zone auto climate control system, a heated steering wheel, a wireless charging pad, a hands-free liftgate, remote engine start, a highway driving system, and others. The Grand Cherokee L also has second-row captain’s chairs, easy-entry for the third-row, a rearview camera, a subwoofer, two moonroofs, a rear-seat video package, side cameras, a four-zone climate control system, interior air filtration, driver-assisted parking, and a few additional features.
You can appreciate the differences between the Grand Cherokee and Grand Cherokee L in person from behind the wheel. To arrange a test drive, call or visit David Stanley Dodge today.
