2024 Jeep Grand Wagoneer vs 2023 Jeep Grand Wagoneer

Serving Midwest City, OK

The full-size Jeep Grand Wagoneer produces the rugged performance and power that you expect from the brand, along with a spacious, premium cabin and a slew of modern features. The Grand Wagoneer is an iconic nameplate that has been around for more than six decades and was revived in 2022. While the 2023 and 2024 versions of the Grand Wagoneer are comparable in many areas, there are a few updates for the 2024 model year.

Performance

In 2023, the Grand Wagoneer is outfitted with a Hemi V8, 6.4-liter engine that put out 471 horsepower. This engine is not available in 2024. Instead, the standard engine is a Hurricane inline-six, twin-turbo 3.0-liter unit. It produces 510 horsepower along with 500 pound-feet of torque. The new engine has an eight-speed auto transmission and can shoot you up to 60 miles per hour in just 4.7 seconds. Standard equipment includes an electronically locking rear differential, hill descent control, Quadra-Drive II four-wheel drive, and a low-range two-speed transfer case.

Appearance

In 2024, the Series II trim level is removed. The new lineup includes Series I, Series II Obsidian, and Series III. The Obsidian package with the Series III is optional, giving the Grand Wagoneer a blacked-out look. The overall style of the Grand Wagoneer is unchanged. This long SUV shows off a low-profile version of Jeep's rectangle-themed grille and rectangular LED headlights. The lower fascia is equally short, with a series of three bulbs for the foglamps. The wheel wells are modestly squared, while the fenders are flatly defined. Exterior features include roof rails with crossbars, tinted windows, up to 22-inch wheels, a black roof, tow hooks, retractable running boards, a hands-free liftgate, and a panoramic sunroof.

Features

The Grand Wagoneer for 2023 and 2024 is available with second-row captain's chairs or a second-row bench seat with reclining functionality. Additional features are customizable ambient lights, heated and massaging front seats, a four-zone climate control system, a household power outlet, a McIntosh sound system, a navigation system, a 12-inch infotainment system screen, a digital instrument screen, automated parking, a surround-view camera, a driver attention warning, forward collision mitigation, adaptive cruise control, traffic sign recognition, a rear seat entertainment system with Amazon Fire TV and a pair of 10.1-inch screens, a front-passenger display screen, and more.
