The Grand Cherokee name is synonymous with rugged strength and premium features, and these qualities have been exemplified across all five of the model's generations over the last several decades. The three-row Grand Cherokee L joined the two-row midsize SUV in 2021. In 2024, the Grand Cherokee and Grand Cherokee L introduce a few minor changes. What should you know about these SUVs before making your purchase at David Stanley Dodge?
The 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee draws 293 horsepower from its V6, 3.6-liter engine for all trim levels. This engine includes an eight-speed auto transmission. Depending on the trim selected, the Grand Cherokee may have rear-wheel or four-wheel drive. Select trims also add an adaptive air suspension system, towing equipment, and an electronic limited-slip rear differential. The Grand Cherokee L has this same engine; its output is 290 horsepower. However, select trims offer an optional 357-horsepower, 5.7-liter, V8 engine. There are three drivetrain packages. The Quadra-Trac I gives you a single-speed transfer case with four-wheel drive. The Quadra-Trac II upgrades to a two-speed transfer case and adds a neutral mode. Quadra-Trac III adds to the II's equipment with fully automatic, high-range four-wheel drive.
The 2024 Grand Cherokee brings Jeep's signature, boxy design language to life through its rectangular grille, cubic shape, and square fenders. It also has rectangular LED headlights, a rectangular bumper fascia, and square fog light ports. The 2024 Grand Cherokee L is comparably styled with larger dimensions. It also introduces a subtle angle to the headlights, a row of LED fog lamps, and a redesigned bumper.
The Grand Cherokee's features are also available in the Grand Cherokee L. These are memory settings for the front row, a four-zone climate system, automated parking, a surround-view camera system, leather upholstery, an Alpine sound system, a panoramic sunroof, a rear entertainment system, front parking sensors with auto braking, a 10.25-inch passenger display screen, a digital rear mirror, heated seats in the first two rows, a 10.1-inch infotainment system screen, remote start and a wireless phone charger. The Grand Cherokee L also has a McIntosh sound system, a power-folding third row, a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, and several other features.
