2024 Jeep Gladiator Sport vs 2024 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon

Serving Midwest City, OK

The 2024 Gladiator is Jeep's only truck model, and it meets your expectations for functionality, power, and modern features. This midsize truck continues to be in its first generation, and it shows off the results of several improvements. The available trim levels are the Sport, Willys, Rubicon, and Mojave. How does the entry-level Gladiator Sport compare to the Gladiator Rubicon?

Performance

The 2024 Gladiator Sport is equipped with a V6, 3.6-liter engine. This 285-horsepower powertrain offers a six-speed manual or eight-speed auto transmission. This engine is also standard in the Gladiator Rubicon. The Rubicon comes with enhanced mechanical features as well. These include a two-speed transfer case, Fox shock absorbers, an electronically disconnecting front stabilizer bar, locking rear and front differentials, low-range gearing, and an enhanced rear axle ratio.

Appearance

For 2024, the Jeep Gladiator shows off a restyled grille with integrated, circular LED headlights. The model takes strong design cues from the Wrangler, including beefy bumpers, a boxy shape, flared fenders, a removable top, and removable doors. The Sport trim has 32-inch all-terrain tires, 17-inch steel wheels, and a fold-down front windshield. The Rubicon trim adds 33-inch all-terrain tires, tow hooks, a tow hitch, powered mirrors, skid plates, and rock rails.

Features

In 2024, all trim levels have a larger, 12.3-inch central display screen. The Sport trim also has wireless Apple CarPlay with Android Auto, cruise control, a push-button starter, and an eight-speaker sound system. The Rubicon builds on these features with upgraded cloth seats, adaptive cruise control, power windows, forward collision mitigation, a leather-covered steering wheel, a dual-zone auto climate control system, and an enhanced driver information display.
