The 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee L strikes a happy medium between the two-row Grand Cherokee and the Wagoneer, which rides on a truck platform. The Grand Cherokee L is comparably equipped as the two-row Grand Cherokee. For 2025, the Grand Cherokee L has only one change to its performance capabilities. Otherwise, it is unchanged from its 2024 version.
In 2024, the Grand Cherokee L was available with a Hemi V8 engine, which is no longer available. For 2025, the Grand Cherokee L has the same engine available across its trim levels. This is a 3.6-liter V6 system that generates 293 horsepower, and this system comes with an eight-speed auto transmission. The first two trim levels have standard rear-wheel drive, and Quadra-Trac I four-wheel drive is offered as an upgrade. The higher trim levels have standard four-wheel drive.
The 2025 Grand Cherokee L's exterior style is unchanged. The model has the tall, sleek dimensions that Jeep is known for, and it shows off subtle definition across the hood and upper sides. Dark molding runs from bumper to bumper along the lower perimeter, highlighting the squared-off wheel wells. Jeep's signature column-style grille is paired with a rectangular bumper, as well as linear headlights and fog lights.
The entry-level Grand Cherokee L Laredo is smartly equipped with a tri-zone climate control system, sliding captain's chairs in the second row, an 8.4-inch touch display screen, adaptive cruise control, a push-button ignition, lane keeping, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, rear parking sensors, a blind-spot system and others. The higher trims and optional packages add a power liftgate, remote start, a heated steering wheel, a larger display screen, ambient lighting, a wireless charging pad, leather upholstery, front and rear parking sensors, memory, and massaging functions for the front seats, a four-zone climate control system and other features.
