What's New for the 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee L Altitude?
The Grand Cherokee L is a larger, three-row version of the popular Jeep Grand Cherokee. In 2025, this midsize SUV will continue to be available in the same four trim levels. These are the Laredo, the Laredo X, the Altitude, and the Altitude X. The 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee L Altitude has many exterior and interior upgrades that are not offered in the first two trim levels. What can you expect from it?
The exterior of the 2025 Grand Cherokee L Altitude is beautifully designed to express the model's combination of ruggedness and sophistication. The model is larger than the two-row Grand Cherokee, and it is styled with a flatly sloping hood and a flat roof. The nose is subtly rounded, and it shows off a rectangular bumper flanked by large, rectangular air inlets. The short grille stretches wide to connect to the horizontal LED headlights. The grille is styled with Jeep's signature column design. Across the sides, the Grand Cherokee L displays squared-off fenders with lower-body molding that stretches from front to rear.
The Hemi V8 engine that was offered in the 2024 model year is not available in 2025. All Grand Cherokee L trim levels are powered by a 293-horsepower V6 engine. The Altitude trim level is available in both 4X2 and 4x4 versions. The eight-speed auto transmission boasts a driver-selectable mode, sequential shift control, and steering wheel controls.
The spacious interior offers seating for six to seven passengers, depending on the second row's seating configuration. The Altitude trim comes with leatherette-trimmed seats and suede inserts, heated front seats, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an 8.4-inch touch display screen, Uconnect 5, remote vehicle start, a wireless charging pad, adaptive cruise control, a heated and leather-wrapped steering wheel, six USB ports across all three rows, a ParkView back-up camera, ParkSense rear parking assistance, blind-spot monitoring, auto emergency braking, active lane management, and adaptive cruise control.
