 What's New for the 2025 Dodge Hornet R/T?

When Dodge introduced the Hornet to its lineup in 2023, this compact crossover SUV made waves as the smallest crossover available from the automaker. It has a sleek, athletic look while embracing classic Dodge body language. In 2025, the Hornet will be available in four trim levels: the GT, GT Plus, R/T, and R/T Plus. The R/T adds more power and features than the lower trim levels offer. What can you expect from the 2025 Dodge Hornet R/T?

The Hornet R/T is the first trim in the lineup to offer a plug-in hybrid, turbo 1.3-liter, four-cylinder engine. With this engine, you can enjoy 288 horsepower behind the wheel. Like the other Hornet trim levels, it has an auto transmission and all-wheel drive. The R/T also comes with Brembo performance brakes at the front. The optional Track Pack also gives you adjustable suspension dampers.

A swooping hood and a liftgate spoiler at the rear establish the aerodynamic shape of the Hornet R/T. You can admire the raked windows, defined rear haunches, black molding, and carved door panels from the side view. A hook-like LED element strikes through the slender headlights on the nose, and the lights are connected via a slender, black bar. Flanking the dark lower fascia, the slanted air vents enhance the sporty design. The R/T's standard features include 18-inch wheels, rain-sensing wipers, and automatic headlights. Options available for the R/T are red brake calipers, larger and black wheels, and black trim.

The 2025 Hornet R/T is remarkably equipped with standard features like heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, an integrated navigation system, leather upholstery a hands-free liftgate, a wireless charging pad, a Harman Kardon sound system with 14 speakers, remote start, Uconnect, a 10.25-inch infotainment system screen, a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel, wireless connections for the smartphone apps, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot warning and lane keeping. Options available for the R/T are a surround-view camera, automated parking, a sports steering wheel, and lane centering.
