The impressive Dodge Durango is a powerful midsize SUV that accommodates passengers comfortably across three rows. In 2025, the Durango is a mid-generation model that brings only a few minor changes for drivers to explore and appreciate. Most notably, the Durango is now available with three trim levels. These are the GT, R/T, and SRT Hellcat. Several optional packages are available with select trim levels.
The 2025 Durango's performance is based on the trim level. The Durango GT comes with a V6, 3.6-liter engine that produces 295 horsepower. It features an eight-speed auto transmission and rear-wheel drive. All-wheel drive is an upgrade. The R/T trim level is outfitted with a 360-horsepower, 5.7-liter, V8 engine and an eight-speed auto transmission. It also comes with standard four-wheel drive and a sport-tuned suspension system. The SRT Hellcat is equipped with a supercharged V8, a 6.2-liter engine with engine cooling, a sport-tuned adaptive suspension system, and upgraded Brembo brakes.
The Durango's exterior style is unchanged for 2025. It has grand dimensions that are visually muted by a raked rear and smooth, descending surfaces across the profile. The sides have a lower ledge and a deep accent across the doors. On the front end, the LED-outlined headlights flank a down-turned grille. Small, bending air inlets accompany the powerful bumper. Exterior features include a power liftgate, a Class IV trailer hitch, and 20-inch wheels.
If you select the entry-level Durango for 2025, your new SUV will come with a forward collision warning, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, a 10.2-inch touch display screen, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, a blind-spot system, and more. Optional features available with the base trim level are lane-keeping assistance, memory settings for the driver's seat, leather upholstery, a nine-speaker Alpine sound system, a wireless phone charger, and adaptive cruise control. Higher trim levels and optional packages add a 19-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, sport seats, and a few additional features.
