For 2024, the RAM 3500 remains largely unchanged, maintaining its excellent features, styling, and power. However, there's one small but significant upgrade: the 2024 RAM 3500 now comes standard with a tailgate ajar warning across all trim levels.
This truck is available in five trim levels, two bed lengths, and three cab sizes. It offers three powertrain options. The base powertrain is a 410-horsepower, V8, 6.4-liter gas engine. There is also an optional Cummins turbo-diesel engine that produces 370 horsepower. For those needing more power, a high-output version of this turbo-diesel engine delivers 420 horsepower and an impressive 1,075 pound-feet of torque.
Rugged Exterior Design
The exterior of the 2024 RAM 3500 showcases its powerful capabilities. Its tall, sculpted hood and bold front-end design make a striking impression. The large grille features horizontal accent bars and dominates the nose. Below the grille, the large, wraparound bumper may include tow hooks and fog lights. The prominent rectangular headlights are accented with LEDs. The base trim level includes a locking tailgate, a tow hitch, and 18-inch steel wheels. Higher trims add features such as heated and powered tow mirrors, a soft-opening tailgate, a power-sliding rear window, LED cargo bed lighting, a spray-in bedliner, rain-sensing wipers, 20-inch wheels, power running boards, fifth-wheel equipment, dual rear wheels, a RamBox cargo space, and more.
