What's New for the 2024 RAM 2500?
The RAM 2500 gives you the power and great features you want from your new, heavy-duty truck. Several updates were made to the 2023 RAM 2500, so there is only one minor change for the 2024 model year. This is a new Tailgate Ajar indicator on the dashboard. For the previous model year, the RAM 2500 added a Mopar performance hood, trailer reverse steering control, a digital rearview mirror, and a digital instrument cluster.
The 2024 RAM 2500 is available with the same two engine options. The base powertrain is a 410-horsepower, V8, 6.4-liter gas system. A turbo-diesel V6 that generates 370 horsepower and 850 pound-feet of torque is optional. Some trim levels include a manual-shift transfer case with four-wheel drive, locking axles at the rear and front, an off-road-tuned suspension, and a disconnecting front stabilizer.
Throughout the 2024 RAM 2500's exterior, you can appreciate powerful dimensions with a sculpted hood and a commanding front-end design. Rectangular LED headlights accompany a wide grille with a thick surround. The RAM name is displayed in large font. The RAM 2500's commanding look is also established by a thick, classic bumper that is available with tow hooks and fog lamps. This truck may also come with outer features like all-terrain tires, an electric winch, a RAMBox cargo area, a power-sliding rear window, rain-sensing wipers, up to 20-inch wheels, adjustable tie-down hooks, a sunroof, telescoping side mirrors with powered adjustments and heat, power-deploying running boards and a remote tailgate release.
The 2024 RAM 2500 has a wide center console with three cupholders inside. The molded, layered dashboard flares outward across the center stack. This truck is remarkably outfitted across its eight trim levels. Features include a surround-view camera, a Harman Kardon sound system, a wireless phone charger, adaptive cruise control, lane departure mitigation, a 12-inch touch display screen, a blind-spot warning system, driver's memory functions, leather and wood materials, heated seats in both rows, in-floor storage spaces, a digital instrumentation screen, power-adjustable pedals, wireless internet access and more.
