What's New for the 2024 RAM 1500?
The 2024 RAM 1500 is a powerful, full-size truck that delivers the all-around excellent driving experience that today's drivers want. While this truck has evolved progressively throughout its long history, there are no major changes to the RAM 1500 for 2024. The truck is easily recognizable on the road with its deep, horizontal contouring on the sides and the powerfully sculpted hood. The grille makes a commanding statement with chrome bars crossing through the large grille. The rectangular headlights are sizable and boast both upper and lower LED bars. The model is available with two-bed sizes as well as two cab configurations. Some of the exterior features available for the 2024 RAM 1500 are a RamBox, a split multi-function tailgate, a panoramic sunroof, underbody skid plates, all-terrain tires, flared fenders, power-deployable running boards, and a few additional features.
Three engines are available across the trim lineup for the 2024 RAM 1500. The standard engine is a V6, 3.6-liter gas system with mild-hybrid tech, generating 305 horsepower. A 5.7-liter V8 engine with a mild-hybrid component, generating 395 horsepower, is also offered. The RAM 1500 TRX is available with a 702-horsepower, supercharged 6.2-liter, V8 gas engine. Select trims are also available with upgraded engine cooling, an electronic locking rear differential, a performance exhaust system, upgraded brakes, Bilstein adaptive dampers, and others.
The seven trim levels available for the 2024 model year provide everything from a basic truck to a premium truck loaded with elite features. The base trim level gives you cruise control, remote keyless entry, a six-speaker sound system, a 5-inch infotainment system, Bluetooth connectivity, and an AC system. The RAM 1500's higher trim levels for 2024 may add a surround-view camera, leather upholstery, a lane departure warning, a blind-spot alert system, adaptive cruise control, a 19-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, a head-up display, an automated parking system, a 12-inch touch display screen, a wireless charging pad, and others.
