Throughout its long and celebrated history, the Jeep Grand Cherokee has been recognized for striking a perfect balance between refinement and ruggedness. This midsize model has a two-row cabin and debuted its fifth generation in 2022. Exciting generational improvements debuted at that time, and a few additional updates were made for the 2023 model year. In 2024, however, the Grand Cherokee is unchanged.

The 2024 Grand Cherokee has a recognizable style, boxy profile, and tall nose. The sides are mostly smooth except for a pinstripe that flows across the lower door panels. The wheel wells are squared off, and this theme continues with a rectangular design in the wide grille. The headlights also have a rectangular quality and link directly with the grille. Below the grille, another rectangular element holds the available tow hooks. Available exterior features are heated side mirrors, 17-inch wheels or larger, roof rails, keyless entry, automatic wipers, remote start, a hands-free power liftgate, trailering equipment, fog lamps, and all-terrain tires.

The 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee's interior style has a contemporary look thanks to the molded, layered dashboard design. The wide center console links fluidly with the center stack. While you are driving, you can enjoy features like six USB ports, a keyless ignition, a digital instrument panel, wireless connections for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an 8.4-inch or 10.1-inch touch display screen, a heated steering wheel, a wireless charging pad, a household power outlet, heated seats, driver's memory settings, leather upholstery, driver's memory settings, and numerous additional features.

The base powertrain for all of the 2024 Grand Cherokee's trim levels is a 293-horsepower, 3.6-liter, V6 engine. This engine features standard rear-wheel drive with the option for four-wheel drive. There are two optional engines available as well. The Summit, Trailhawk, and Overland trims are available with a plug-in hybrid, 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine that puts out 375 horsepower. The Overland and Summit trims are also available with a 357-horsepower, 5.7-liter V8 engine. Both of these optional powertrains have standard four-wheel drive. All trims and powertrains have an eight-speed auto transmission.
