 What's New for the 2024 Jeep Compass Latitude?

The compact Jeep Compass crossover SUV excels in delivering an all-around solid performance and a good selection of modern features, making it an excellent option for value-minded shoppers with adventurous lifestyles. In 2024, the Compass continues to be offered in five trim levels, and the second option in the lineup is the Latitude. With the exception of a subtle design update that is found on all trim levels, the Compass Latitude is unchanged for 2024.

The Compass features a redesigned grille insert, but overall, the Compass retains its sporty look. The modest aesthetic updates include new wheel designs. In true Jeep fashion, the fenders are slightly flared and squared off. While the grille insert is updated, the Compass continues to have a short, wide grille flanked by almost rectangular LED headlights. The lower fascia is beefy for a strong look. The Latitude trim level has fog lights, keyless entry, roof rails, and 17-inch wheels. Auto wipers are optional.

Under the hood, all of the 2024 Jeep Compass trim levels are well-engineered with a four-cylinder, turbocharged 2.0-liter gas engine. This 200-horsepower engine is tied to an eight-speed auto transmission. All-wheel drive is the standard drivetrain for the 2024 Compass across all trims.

The 2024 Compass Latitude is outfitted with synthetic leather upholstery, a keyless ignition, wireless smartphone connections, a 10.1-inch touch display screen, and a six-speaker audio system. Driver's assist features include a rear seat reminder, lane departure mitigation, a blind-spot warning, a driver attention warning, and forward collision avoidance. Optional features for the Latitude include a panoramic sunroof, an Alpine sound system with nine speakers, parking sensors, a dual-zone auto climate control system, a 360-degree camera, adaptive cruise control, a wireless charging pad, automated parking, and several others.
