The midsize Dodge Durango SUV delivers the strong performance that you expect from a Dodge model with the spaciousness and comforts that you need on the road. In 2024, the Durango is a mid-generation model with only a few minor changes for you to check out and appreciate.
The Durango's trim lineup is unchanged in the 2024 model year. These trims are the SXT, GT, R/T, Citadel, SRT 392 and SRT Hellcat. The entry-level engine is a 295-horsepower, 3.6-liter V6 engine. The mid-level Durango SUVs have either a 360-horsepower, V8, 5.7-liter engine or a 475-horsepower, V8, 6.4-liter system. If you choose the top-of-the-line SRT Hellcat, your new Dodge Durango will come with a 710-horsepower, supercharged V8 system.
The exterior of the Durango is also unchanged except for one update. The towing package that was available on the R/T trim in 2023 is now available on both the R/T and Citadel trim levels. The SUV's design is both sporty and bold with tall dimensions and almost smooth sides. The front end is commanding with a wide, downward-trending grille mounted above a larger lower fascia. The LED-outlined headlights have an innovative look. Exterior features offered on select 2024 Durango trim levels include up to 20-inch wheels, a sunroof and a power liftgate.
The cabin features are unchanged between 2023 and 2024. However, blind-spot monitoring is now standard for all Durango trim levels for the first time in 2024. The Durango's entry-level features are an 8.4-inch touch display screen, a heated steering wheel, a forward collision warning, heated front seats, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and others. The higher trims may add a third-row seat, a navigation system, a larger display screen, captain's chairs in the second row, an Alpine sound system, adaptive cruise control, memory settings for the driver's seat, lane keeping, and more.
