 What's New for the 2023 Jeep Renegade?

The Jeep Renegade stands out among other subcompact crossovers on the market today thanks to its rugged capabilities and eye-catching styling. In fact, for 2023, the Renegade is now available with standard all-wheel drive for all trim levels. Another important update is the elimination of the Renegade's sport trim level. The Latitude trim level is now the base-level option and is now available with an optional Premium Group. With this package, you can use cornering fog lights, a windshield wiper de-icer, roof rails, a heated steering wheel, powered driver seat adjustments, and heated front seats. The Upland Special Edition is also new for the 2023 model year. It has all of the Latitude's features, and it adds a 7-inch digital instrument panel, all-terrain tires, and 17-inch wheels.

In addition, adaptive cruise control becomes standard with the Renegade Limited, and this trim is also available with a High Altitude package. This optional package gives you dark trim and wheels on the exterior. The Limited Elite Group is also optional, and it comes with a windshield wiper de-icer, parking sensors, and LED lights.

If you choose the Trailhawk trim, you now can add the Elite Group and Premium Lighting Group to your Renegade. The Elite Group gives you a windshield wiper de-icer, a heated steering wheel, heated seats, and leather upholstery. The Premium Lighting Group includes all of these features as well as LED lighting. In addition to all of these trim-specific updates, all 2023 Renegade trims are now available with Detonator Yellow and Solar Yellow body paint.

The capabilities of this bold, boxy crossover are unchanged. A turbo 1.3-liter, four-cylinder powertrain is standard for all trims and produces 177 horsepower. The system includes a nine-speed auto transmission. The Trailhawk trim is also equipped with hill descent control, underbody skid plates, all-terrain tires, tow hooks on both ends, and a raised suspension.
